"This is an invitation…" was how the German band Alphaville started their song "Summer in Berlin" in the 1980s, one in many hymns to the ever vibrant atmosphere of this undoubted international capital of trends.
There may be many reasons to come to this city, but this sounds like the most appropriate to what Berlin means from the outside:
